Many of our customers who buy our custom neon signs love to hang them from the ceiling, behind storefront windows, or above bar counters. It looks amazing and does not take up any wall space. The good news is that hanging your neon sign is really simple. We include every single part you need right in the package, so you do not have to buy any extra tools. Just follow this guide, and you can install it all by yourself.

What’s Included in Your Package

Every neon sign comes with everything you need:

  • Wall mounting screws for wall installation
  • Heavy-duty hanging cables for suspended installation
  • Stainless steel ceiling mounts with adjustable length
  • Clear acrylic connectors for joining sections
  • Transparent mounting screws for a clean, invisible look

Installation Based on Size

  • For signs under 4 feet (1.2 meters) long:

Your sign comes in one single, solid piece. You do not have to connect any sections. You can hang it directly.
  • For signs over 4 feet (1.2 meters) long:

To keep your sign safe during shipping and make installation easier, it comes in multiple sections. We provide clear acrylic connectors and matching transparent screws to join the pieces together. Once assembled, the connections are almost invisible, for a very clean and professional finish.

Step-by-Step Hanging Instructions (Easy for Beginners)

  1. Measure the width and mark the ceiling

First, measure the total width of your neon sign. For example, if it is 40 inches wide, mark two matching points on your ceiling. Then screw the stainless steel ceiling mounts into place.

  2. Attach the cables and adjust the height

Hang the heavy-duty cables from the ceiling mounts. Our cables are fully adjustable, so you can set your sign at any height you want. You can simply cut off any extra cable length for a neat appearance.

  3. Assemble larger signs (only for long designs)

If your sign is longer than 4 feet, use the clear acrylic connectors and transparent screws to join all the sections together firmly. The result will look seamless and stylish.
  4. Hang your sign and enjoy

Clip or attach your neon sign directly onto the two adjusted cables. Plug it in, and your sign is ready to light up.
