2. Important Notice: Avoid Direct Sunlight
Although our neon signs are waterproof, we do not recommend placing them in long-term direct sunlight.
Strong ultraviolet (UV) rays from direct sun exposure will affect the surface waterproof glue over time. The glue may develop tiny cracks, fine lines or become brittle. When it rains or snows, water will easily penetrate inside, and thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes will further damage the light strip, greatly shortening the service life of your neon sign.
3. Why This Happens (Material & Industry Feature)
This is not a quality problem — it is a natural feature of the neon light strip material.
The silicone and waterproof glue we use are eco-friendly materials, which means they will gradually degrade under long-term strong UV radiation. This is common in the entire neon industry and cannot be avoided by any manufacturer.
4. Best Outdoor Installation Locations
To keep your neon sign in perfect condition for a long time, we recommend installing it in:
- Areas without direct sunlight
- Under eaves or canopies
- Covered patios, balconies or semi-outdoor spaces
